Arizmendi Bakery is a worker-owned cooperative specializing in morning pastries, artisan breads and gourmet pizza. Their specialty pizzas (always vegetarian) are consistently mentioned on the “Best pizzas of the Bay” lists. We can see why — their sourdough crust is the perfect vehicle for their uniquely delicious pies with toppings varying from peaches & lemon ricotta to mushrooms, bok choy & sesame ginger vinaigrette to curried cauliflower with spinach & mozzarella.
