If you are looking for something different and interesting, you need to try Lily. Lily on Clement, which opened to high acclaim during the pandemic, is an upscale, modern Vietnamese restaurant that goes beyond the traditional banh mi and pho. Everything on the menu explodes with flavors and textures.
Lily's head chef Rob Lam is a Vietnamese-born industry veteran who has been named a “Rising Star Chef” by the San Francisco Chronicle. Chef Lam said of his newest endeavor, "We wanted to bring a level of Vietnamese food that was authentic, delicious and detailed. Our goal was to create a space for our community to enjoy what real Vietnamese food means to us. To casually exceed our customers’ expectations has really been a foundation of what we are trying to accomplish here."
While the entire menu is delicious, we were particularly taken with the colorful Shaking Beef Salad, #2 Pho Bo, and the Bun Cha Hanoi.
